Two new appointments at World Gold Council (WGC) were recently announced. Johan Palmberg and Nitin Tuteja will join as investment research analysts, for London and New York offices, respectively. Both join on the WGC's international research team headed by Marcus Grubb and will focus on global markets. %% With the increasing demand for gold as an asset class, and in gold investment, in recent times, the WGC believes the appointments will help enhance its research in trying to address and meet demand for gold analytics. %% Johan’s last work portfolio was with Lansdowne Partners, as an analyst with the Global Macro Fund, apart from being involved with equity research divisions at Credit Lyonnais Securities and start-up EGI Ltd. Nitin holds a work record at BNP Paribas (equity derivatives desk), Wellington Management Company, Dresdner Kleinwort. %% Both will join office with immediate effect.
