Second Dubai Diamond Conference to be held in April

The conference will be held at Almas Tower from 21st to 22nd April.

A noteworthy consumer interest in gold accessories in modern motifs seen at the recent Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2010, has inspired the World Gold Council to further tap this interest in stylised gold jewellery by launching a gold jewellery collection. For this, the WGC has collaborated with AU Finja, a leading global manufacturer of gold jewellery to launch – Nouran, (meaning source of light) jewellery line in Dubai. %% Nouran jewellery speaks of rich bold designs, keeping intact Dubai’s long standing affinity with gold, but is lightweight, affordable, stylised in rich bold motifs with a wearability that is versatile, to cater to the interest of the modern woman. %% “All of our designs have a rich, heavy look, while still being lightweight and reasonably priced, so customers can afford a variety of these glamorous and unique pieces,” said Haresh Pahuja, Director of AU Finja. %% The WGC selected AU Finja to create the collection, due to the manufacturer’s proven track record and high international appeal. “Our partnership with AU Finja aims to bring to the region a collection that addresses a very specific target market that has not yet been met, and holds great future potential. This highly researched and well thought-out collection is certain to have a strong appeal within its target demographic, and drive strong sales, especially during EID and Diwali,” said Yogaani Bhatia, Country Manager, UAE, WGC. %% WGC intends this collection to meet gold jewellery demand in the upcoming festive season of EID and Diwali. Nouran is set to be retailed across all major jewellery outfits beginning October 23rd, 2010.
