Joyalukkas plans to open a store in Vijayawada, its second in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The new outfit is targeted to attract the wide spectrum of jewellery buyers, and hence is planned as a large format store offering jewellery of all varieties under one roof. The designs will include both international and traditional motifs. %% Jewellery across categories of gold, diamond, platinum, pearl and silver, will be retailed at the store, with gold jewellery that is 100 per cent BIS hall-marked and diamond products carrying IGI-certification. To tap the element of ‘consumer convenience in shopping’, the retailer plans to provide ‘ample parking’ facilities at the new store. Joyalukkas’ first store in Andhra Pradesh was opened in Hyderabad in 2006.
