Students at the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery witnessed a lecture by India’s leading jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, entitled ‘Jewellery Designing & Creativity’, on 4th February at the institute’s campus in Andheri (E), Mumbai. The lecture concentrated on the nuances of designing, where the celebrated designer interacted with the students while presenting ‘key aspect for designing jewellery based on concepts’ and ‘to bring in the creative aspect in their designs by balancing the technical know how’. %% The institute has been spearheading the work of encouraging education within the gem and jewellery industry, through training, and knowledge dissemination by industry professionals.
