Michael Vaughan will serve as the first time executive director at the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB). He would continue his profile of secretary general at WFDB in addition to his new responsibility.
The appointment was declared at WFDB’s Presidents Meeting held in Amsterdam last month. It was felt necessary to create this position, as the board wanted to improvise operations and administrative infrastructure to address modern day activities in the jewellery industry.
