Titan Company Q2 net jumps 67 pc at Rs 278 crore, Highest in 12 Years

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 165.98 crore for the July-September quarter of last fiscal.

Titans total income stood at Rs 3,517.7 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 2,714.98 crore in the year-ago period, up 29.56 per cent, it said in a BSE filing.

During the second quarter, Titans revenues from watches grew 8.96 per cent to Rs 571.75 crore, while revenues from jewellery business jumped 36.90 per cent at Rs 2,748.2 crore.

Shares of Titan Industries settled 0.56 per cent up at Rs 659.40 a piece on BSE. A 25 per cent increase, this is the highest witnessed in the last 12 years. The company reported that revenue rose 29 percent year on year to Rs 3,473 crore which came from a 37 per cent in the jump in jewellery sales. Revenue from the watch division rose by 9 per cent, said the reports.
