Part of the auction would also be the Ball collection which has a suite of yellow sapphire and diamond jewellery. The approximately $25,000-$30,000.suite comprises of a necklace, ear clips and a ring. Other items come from the design house of Van Cleef and Arpels, as denoted by their signature. The proceeds from the auction would partly be given to the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center in Jamestown, New York.

Christie's Magnificent Jewels Sale which is slated for the 16 of October, has organised an auction for 10 jewellery pieces belonging to Lucille Ball, of "I Love Lucy" fame. On display would be special diamonds including 38.47-carat D-color VS1 diamond worth around 2.3 million, and some unique gemstones.
