In its foray to launch its second retail chain namely Shubh, Rajesh Exports plans to buy out local jewellery stores in southern India’s non-metros. The company plans to open the first Shubh outlets within two years and 100 such stores by end of fiscal 2009, at an investment of Rs.300 crore.
Keeping a keen focus on expanding in the domestic market, Rajesh Exports plans to launch five new diamond jewellery brands at the end of September, which will be retailed through its Indian retail outlets.
