The HRD Diamond Lab, headquartered in Antwerp will now be accessible for certifications, by any diamond centre in the world, with its new HRD Lab Link – a pick-up certification service. The world renowned certification company, can now receive diamonds directly at the client’s office, have them delivered to the its Antwerp centre for certification, after which dispatch them back to the client.

Lab link will offer full certifications for diamonds and colored diamonds, HRD Certificate ID number laser marked on the girdle, and sealing to ensure the appropriate certificate goes onto the concerned stone.

The service would cost the clients US$4.00 plus 0.11 percent of the declared value per diamond submitted. The cost covers the round-trip shipping costs, liability coverage, door-to-door insurance, including all import and export charges.

Initially, the HRD Lab Link will launch in Israel followed by India and China. Owing to HRD’s strong client base in Israel and a reputation for its certification in European and Asian diamond centres, Israel was the chosen destination, according to HRD Diamond Lab's Chief Officer Commercial Operations Dirk Dullaert. The pick-up service in Israel will be through the D2D Val Express, a diamond, gem and jewellery specific shipping firm located at the Israel Diamond Exchange. While G4S Company, a global security services firm, with offices in Antwerp, will operate for the Belgium market.
