This design competition offers participants a virtual access to the emerald inventory of Abhishek Ghatiwala, CEO and Creative Head - Ghatiwala Jewellers, Jaipur. Jewellery blogger Preeta Agarwal has handpicked a few exceptional gemstones from this vast inventory.  This initiative invites participants to create designs with these select emeralds. All jewels must fall under the category of traditional Indian Jadau Jewellery and those that can be worn by a bride or for festive wear.

Eligibility:

● Aspiring jewellery design talents
● Budding, freelance and professional jewellery designers
● Students and graduates from all jewellery design disciplines

Process:

● Download the emerald specification sheets from https://www.ghatiwalajewellers.com/design-competition
● Design bridal or festive wear jewellery keeping the emeralds in the lead
● Mail your designs/sketches on by Thursday, 23rd April 2020
● Submit each sketch on a separate sheet and clearly specify the material(s) and dimensions used other than the given emeralds
● In order for them evaluate your designs, do share your design inspiration and impressions, but in not more than 100 words
