Having signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), the GJEPC organised a webinar for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on the “Benefits of Machinery empanelment for gem and jewellery manufacturers on 12th February, 2021.

Shri. P Uday Kumar, Director Planning and Marketing and Shri. Upender Kumar Kohli, General Manager (BD- MSS) of NSIC, Ministry of MSME, New Delhi were present to brief participants on NSIC’s various important schemes. They informed participants about the Machinery & Equipment Selling Scheme.

Objective of scheme: “Purchase of machinery from the NSIC empaneled Manufacturers and the approved Authorised Indian importers at discounted prices and other benefits”

• * Selection/Empanelment of manufacturer/Seller
• * Procedure for buying machines & equipment.

In addition, they also briefed attendees about NSIC’s credit and finance-related schemes like Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme, technology schemes pertaining to Software Application, Incubation Centres; information and technology schemes concerning ERP, and marketing schemes such as exhibition enlistment, etc.
