ALROSA Supervisory Board (Board of Directors) held a meeting on 27th December 2005 in Moscow under the chairmanship of RF Finance Minister and Alrosa Supervisory Board Chairman Alexey Kudrin.

The Board approved dismissal of Vassily Vlassov, former Alrosa vice-president, from its members because of his retirement and a new position.The Board approved the Alrosa distribution strategy ion the domestic and external markets.

The Board considered plans of long-term investment into oil and gas assets in Sakha (Yakutia). The Board also took into consideration the appeal by the NGO “People’s Front Yakutia- Alrosa” dated 17th September 2005 to President and Prime Minister, people’s deputies and the people of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It was recommended that the PR and explanatory campaign by Alrosa among the Sakha population should be stepped up.
