Hari Krishna Group organized a blood donation drive on the occasion of its ninth anniversary at The Capital Building in BKC.

A total of 12,155 units of blood have been collected till date from all the blood donation drives hosted by the HK Group. The company organizes such events three times a year at its Surat and Mumbai offices.

This time, the event had bankers from SBI and Union Bank of India as the chief guests. Other dignitaries from the diamond industry were also present. The group also unveiled its Quarterly Newsletter at the event.

According to a company statement, “This drive is aimed at raising awareness about the importance of blood donation in saving lives, not only in medical emergencies, but also in the treatment of people who are suffering from severe life-threatening diseases that necessitate a timely and safe blood transfusion. As a result, people become more motivated to do it on a regular basis.”
