The South China Morning Post featured a jewellery store, namely Chow Tai Fook jewellery store chain in Hong Kong to remind some practical strategies to effective retailing. The retailer has been in the business of manufacturing and selling jewellery, through its 700 stores spanning 79 years.%%All stores in Hong Kong, Macau, China and Taiwan implement a corporate policy called “After sales cross-border service”, which assures each customer full service at any sales point regardless of where the point of purchase. Also the prices have been made uniform across the sale points. The salespeople are trained as “jewellery fashion consultants” to serve he customers on a one to one basis addressing their needs individually.
