e-Bay announced its performance for the fourth quarter and the entire fiscal year of 2007. During the last quarter its revenues have scaled up by $461 million to $2.18 billion, as compared to the last year’s quarter. The net revenue in the said period amounted to $611 million, a 42% increase. The fiscal year earned it a 29% rise in revenues amounting to $7.672 billion, while net revenues scaled up by 46% to $2.106 billion. Both figures are comparable to the same period of last year.%%By the end of the year, 532,000 stores were active in e-Bay, which is a fall of 10% in comparison to last year, but its registered users have increased by 61% to 276.3 million people in comparison to the end of 2006. Looking ahead, e-Bay forecasts its revenues for 2008 as between $8.5 and $8.75 billion, with that for the first quarter is targeted at $2 billion.
