Zaveri Bazaar recently hosted the inaugural successful seminar organized by the GJEPC MSME department in collaboration with eBay and DHL. The event delved into the exploration of e-commerce possibilities within the gems and jewellery sector, highlighting its paramount importance for the trade. Nitin Khandelwaal, Regional Director of Rajasthan at GJEPC, provided an insightful overview of e-commerce and its pivotal role in the industry.

During the seminar, eBay presented a comprehensive overview, underscoring its significance as a valuable platform connecting businesses globally to over 190 countries. Stressing their dedicated account management and support team, eBay detailed their assistance in account setup, product listings, marketing, and global promotion. DHL also provided concise insights into their capabilities in supporting e-commerce logistics.

The GJEPC International Event department showcased various international shows and introduced the India Pavilion, offering participants a global platform to showcase their products. Kalidas, representing small manufacturers, advocated for additional seminars and workshops to support their members in onboarding eBay and DHL. Mithilesh Pandey, Head of the MSME Dept., assured the audience of organizing similar events. He also discussed the IC scheme for participating in international exhibitions and GJEPC initiatives for its members in Dubai. Attendees also received information about the PM Vishwakarma Yojana and its associated benefits.

With a full house of over 70 attendees, the seminar reflected the industry's enthusiastic interest in exploring and capitalizing on e-commerce opportunities.
