Surat Known globally as the Diamond City, Surat witnessed a prestigious event on Sunday with the launch of 55 Canccrie’s lab-grown diamond jewellery collection. The grand occasion was graced by Princess Nina Daniela Menegatto of Seborga, Italy, who was invited to introduce the brand to a broader international audience.

This launch signifies a new chapter in Surat’s flourishing jewellery industry, as 55 Canccrie unveiled its collection of sustainable, eco-friendly lab-grown diamonds. Produced using the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method, these diamonds offer a sustainable alternative to traditional mining, with fewer environmental and ethical concerns. As lab-grown diamonds gain traction in the luxury market, Surat stands poised to lead this shift towards sustainable luxury.

Abhishek Dalmia, Director of 55 Canccrie, spoke about the company's five-year experience in CVD diamond production, emphasizing its position as a direct manufacturer. "Customers will benefit from buying lab-grown jewellery directly from us," Dalmia noted, highlighting the company’s commitment to offering high-quality products at competitive prices by cutting out intermediaries.

The event also marked the inauguration of 55 Canccrie’s flagship showroom, a symbol of exclusivity and luxury. Located at Sarita Darshan Society, near the Marriott Hotel, the lavish showroom was unveiled in a grand ceremony attended by notable figures from the jewellery and fashion industry, as well as international guests.

A standout feature of the collection is the exquisite jewellery designed by Sneh Dalmia, a renowned fashion designer in Surat. Her designs seamlessly blend traditional aesthetics with modern elegance, appealing to clients seeking both sustainability and style. The collection embodies sophistication, innovation, and a commitment to the environment—perfect for today’s conscious consumers.

Princess Nina Daniela Menegatto’s presence added international appeal to the launch, reinforcing the growing global interest in lab-grown diamonds. As the reigning Princess of Seborga, a small principality in Italy, her involvement highlighted Surat’s evolving status as a hub for luxury goods, potentially extending 55 Canccrie’s reach to international markets.

The launch of 55 Canccrie’s lab-grown diamond jewellery marks a significant milestone for both the company and Surat’s role in the global diamond industry. With increasing demand for ethical and eco-friendly products, lab-grown diamonds are becoming the future of luxury, and 55 Canccrie is at the forefront of this transformation.
