The India Gem & Jewellery Show (GJS 2025) – Diwali Edition – has reported record sales of around 25-30 tonnes over its four-day run, the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) said on Sunday.

“This edition of GJS has truly been a landmark moment for our industry. The enthusiastic participation of jewellers from every corner of India reaffirmed the strength and unity of our community. With sales reaching nearly 25 to 30 tonnes, GJS 2025 has set a new benchmark of success,” GJC chairman Rajesh Rokde said in a statement.
He added that the timing of the show, held just ahead of the festive season, has injected fresh momentum into the domestic jewellery sector.
The show, which ran from September 16–19 in Mumbai, drew more than 10,000 visitors, hosted over 2,000 buyers, and featured 700-plus booths showcasing jewellery from across India.
