The Israeli Diamond Industry (IDI) has chalked out a full fledged participation with more than 50 companies at the Macau Jewelry and Watch Fair. The fair will be held during January 10-13, 2008 at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center at the Venetian Macao.$$With IDI making efforts to inch to better its ties with the Chinese market, this trade show is expected to bring in better cooperation between the two diamond and jewellery industries. IDI will be the official host for the opening ceremony.%%IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar said: "The Israel Diamond Industry has embarked on a strategic partnership with the Chinese diamond industry. We believe that the massive Israeli participation in the Macau Fair will lead to fruitful business ties, and we look forward to it as an exciting opportunity to further develop our strategic cooperation with China."%%As part of its strategic tie-up, IDI has already opened a representative office IDI Asia Pacific Limited in Hong Kong in July, and has launched a comprehensive portal site in Chinese for the Chinese diamond and jewellery industry.
