Vicenzaoro January 2026, the flagship international jewellery trade show organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), delivered a compelling start to the global business calendar, reinforcing its strategic role as the premier international platform for the entire jewellery supply chain. With over 1,300 exhibiting brands in a completely sold-out show and a 60% foreign attendance, the event attracted key markets and confirmed strong global appetite for Made-in-Italy and international excellence.

The United States led foreign visitor attendance, representing 7% of the total alongside strong performances from the United Kingdom, India and Germany. Other markets such as Turkey, Spain, France, Serbia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, China and the Middle East also recorded significant growth, underlining Vicenzaoro’s widening international draw.

Comprehensive Industry Ecosystem and Business Intelligence

Designed as a true “Jewellery Boutique Show,” Vicenzaoro’s January edition encompassed the full spectrum of the jewellery value chain — from high-end jewellery and semi-finished products to gemstones, packaging and visual merchandising. Buyers benefitted from over 170 T.Gold technology exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge machinery and production innovations, while VO Vintage attracted both industry experts and collectors with an expanded marketplace of over 55 exhibitors.

A comprehensive schedule of talks, trend seminars and technical sessions addressed macroeconomic challenges — including volatile metal prices — and explored forward-looking themes such as sustainability, digital transformation and future market dynamics. Highlights included the seminar “CODED COUTURE – Jewellery as Cultural Code in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” reflective of the industry’s shift toward design innovation informed by emerging technologies.

VO Awards Debut Celebrates Creativity and Craftsmanship

One of the most lauded additions to this edition was the inaugural VO Awards, a new initiative honouring excellence in creativity, sustainability and craftsmanship across eight categories. A panel of international experts selected 24 finalist creations — spanning high jewellery, contemporary pieces, gold and silver manufacturing, and a special under-30 category — which were exhibited on-site, with buyers and visitors participating in the voting process ahead of the awards ceremony held on Sunday at the historic Palladio Theatre.

Market Optimism Amid Economic Adjustment

Despite caution in global markets, industry sentiment was broadly positive. Independent research suggested the Italian jewellery, gold and silver sector is poised for a notable revenue increase in 2025, thus reinforcing strategic buying and order placements at Vicenzaoro.

Strategic Partnerships and Hosted Buyers

In collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), the show hosted over 560 high-profile international buyers from 65 countries, providing a powerful commercial engine for exhibitors seeking global expansion. Representatives from government, regional bodies and leading trade associations underscored the show’s economic significance throughout the opening ceremony.

The next convergence of the international jewellery community will be at Vicenzaoro and T.Gold from 4-8 September 2026, with VO Vintage running 4-7 September, in the newly upgraded Vicenza Expo Centre.
