Petra resumes work at Koffiefontein diamond mine

Investigations into the worker's death are presently underway

As reported by sources, De Beers’ Indian subsidiary De Beers India Pvt. Ltd., has received a reconnaissance permit from the department of mines and geology to prospect for diamonds in Kurnool and Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. De Beers India will continue prospecting for over the next three years, along the total allotted area of 1,570 sq km.
