CaratLane – A TATA Product presented its jewellery at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for the first time, marking its debut on an international runway platform. The showcase was held at Chelsea Piers, New York.
The presentation featured eight looks drawn from CaratLane’s collections, including Polki, Sol, Sandook, Eternity, Butterfly, and Peepal. All pieces presented on the runway featured natural diamonds. The Polki collection included uncut diamond designs, while Eternity focused on brilliant-cut diamond formats. Sol incorporated citrines, and Peepal combined diamonds with green alpanites in yellow gold. Butterfly featured blue enamel detailing, and Sandook included design motifs inspired by marigolds and jharokhas.
Six looks were presented by international models, while two were showcased by Indian fashion influencers Pooja Mundhra and Anahita Bhooshan.
Saumen Bhaumik of CaratLane said, “Our first-ever global runway showcase at New York Fashion Week is a defining milestone for CaratLane — one that affirmed how Indian art, design aesthetics, and craftsmanship can resonate powerfully on the world stage. This showcase reflected our belief that jewellery rooted in tradition yet designed for modern life can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in global fashion.”
The participation aligns with CaratLane’s international expansion efforts, supported by its retail presence in New Jersey, and reflects its engagement with global fashion and jewellery audiences.
