Jaipur Watch Company has introduced the Maharana Pratap Stamp Automatic Watch ahead of the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap. The timepiece integrates a vintage postage stamp featuring the historical figure into its dial.

The product combines heritage elements with mechanical watchmaking. The dial incorporates an original stamp, making each unit distinct. The design references Rajasthan’s cultural legacy, linking the historical figure with contemporary horology.

The watch is powered by a Miyota 6T28 self-winding automatic movement. It is housed in a 316L stainless steel case measuring 34 x 30.3 mm with a thickness of 11 mm. The structure is designed to highlight the stamp as the central visual element.

Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Mehta said, “With the Maharana Pratap Stamp Automatic Watch, the idea was to move beyond storytelling into preservation. The use of an original stamp brings authenticity, while the automatic movement adds life to the piece. It is about creating something that carries history forward with every movement.”

The launch reflects a design approach focused on integrating historical artefacts into functional products. It highlights a niche segment where heritage-driven design intersects with mechanical craftsmanship.
