Maliram Jewellers celebrated its 50th anniversary on December 27, 2025 in Amritsar, bringing together industry leaders, trade partners, dignitaries and customers to mark the retailer’s growth across Punjab.
Maliram Jewellers commemorated its 50th anniversary with a Golden Jubilee celebration held at Radisson Garden, Amritsar, on December 27, 2025. The event marked five decades of the retailer’s operations, which began with a single jewellery store established by Shanker Maliram Kedia in Guru Bazar, Amritsar.
Over the years, the company has expanded its retail presence to three showrooms across Punjab, serving multiple generations of customers. The anniversary event brought together members of the jewellery trade, government officials, business associates and patrons connected with the brand’s journey.
Among the dignitaries present were Major General Kartik C. Seshadri, GOC, 15 Infantry Division; SS Chandel, DIG, Border Security Force, Amritsar; Navdeep Suri, former Ambassador to the UAE and former High Commissioner to Australia; Sr Jagjit Singh Walia, AIG, NRI, Amritsar Zone and DCP, City, Amritsar; and Sandeep Rishi, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
The event also saw participation from jewellery industry stakeholders including Shalabh Dusad of Zevar The Jewellery World, Divesh Bhai of Laxmi Jewellery House and Mavjibhai Patel of Kiran Jewels. Other attendees included Kamal Bansali, Rahul of Rosy Blue, Murali Ayyar of De Beers, and Sameer Gosar and Samit Bhatta of The Retail Jeweller.
The evening featured a jewellery showcase and ramp presentation curated by Manika Vishwakarma and Roosh Sindhu. Manika Vishwakarma, Miss Universe India 2025, and Roosh Sindhu, Miss International India 2025, presented jewellery creations during the showcase. Performances by Sneha Gupta and troupe, singer Palak Muchhal and DJ Missy K formed part of the programme.
The Kedia family used the occasion to acknowledge customers, artisans, suppliers and industry associates who contributed to the company’s growth over the past five decades. The event concluded with commemorative mementos presented to guests attending the Golden Jubilee celebration.
