QWEEN has crafted the custom wedding rings for actor Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt, featuring a natural Madagascar ruby set in gold. The rings were created for the couple’s wedding held at Khan’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai.

According to the company, the centrepiece is a cabochon-cut natural ruby sourced from Madagascar and mounted in a raised gold gallery inspired by a coronet. The ring also incorporates milgrain detailing and a bombé signet profile. QWEEN stated that less than 0.1% of natural rubies meet the quality of the stone selected for the project.

The company said the ring required more than 256 hours of work, from design development to stone setting and finishing. A total of 131 pairs of artisans contributed to the manufacturing process.

The wedding commission follows an earlier bespoke order completed by QWEEN in March 2026, before the brand's official launch. At that time, Gauri Spratt was seen wearing a custom aquamarine ring commissioned by Aamir Khan. The Brazilian aquamarine was set in gold and surrounded by 40 natural diamonds. QWEEN said aquamarines of that size and purity account for less than 0.3% of stones discovered globally.

Aamir Khan is also a strategic investor in QWEEN, which is backed by Rosy Blue and Kashikey. The company said Khan first engaged with the brand as a customer before its launch by commissioning the aquamarine ring, and later selected QWEEN again to create the couple's wedding rings.

Commenting on the commission, Amit Kumar of QWEEN said, "At QWEEN, we believe a jewel should hold the emotion of the person it is created for. This ruby ring was designed as a deeply personal piece for Gauri: rare, natural, and meaningful. To be chosen for a moment as intimate as a wedding is a very special expression of trust in the brand."

For the jewellery industry, the commission highlights continued demand for bespoke jewellery featuring natural coloured gemstones, with custom craftsmanship and gemstone provenance remaining key differentiators in the premium segment.
