Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on July 31 unveiled the official theme poster for the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) 2026, formally launching preparations for the upcoming edition of the gem and jewellery exhibition. The theme for JJS 2026, Coloured Gemstones – An Indispensable Part of Jaipur Heritage, highlights Jaipur's longstanding association with coloured gemstones and its position in the global coloured gemstone trade.

The theme poster was unveiled in the presence of a JJS delegation comprising Chairman Rajiv Jain, Dinesh Khatoria, Kamal Kothari and Mahavir P. Sharma. During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Chief Minister on preparations for the forthcoming edition of the exhibition.

The delegation also invited the Chief Minister to inaugurate Jaipur Jewellery Show 2026, which is scheduled to take place from 22 to 25 December 2026 at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre (JECC), Jaipur. Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony on December 22, 2026.

Commenting on the occasion, Rajiv Jain, Chairman, JJS, said, "We are honoured by the Hon'ble Chief Minister's encouragement and support. The theme is a tribute to Jaipur's rich coloured gemstone heritage, which has earned the city worldwide recognition as a leading centre for gemstone cutting, craftsmanship and trade."

Jaipur Jewellery Show is among India's largest gem and jewellery exhibitions, serving both B2B and B2C audiences. The exhibition brings together manufacturers, exporters, retailers, designers and buyers from India and international markets. The 2026 edition is expected to continue showcasing products and business opportunities across the gem and jewellery value chain while highlighting Jaipur's role in gemstone cutting, craftsmanship and trade. The event also aims to reinforce the city's position as a key centre for the coloured gemstone industry.
