Kalamandir Jewellers has unveiled India’s largest Platinum Experience Zone at its new flagship store in Vadodara, with the dedicated space covering more than 1,000 sq ft. The launch expands the retailer’s focus on platinum jewellery in Gujarat.

The zone houses jewellery from Men of Platinum, Platinum Evara and Platinum Love Bands, covering categories including chains, bracelets, kadas, couple bands, neckwear and bangles. The assortment spans everyday wear, gifting and relationship-led occasions.

Kalamandir already operates dedicated Platinum Experience Zones across six stores. The Vadodara flagship represents the retailer’s largest such format to date, providing a dedicated retail environment for its platinum assortment.

Milan Shah, Director, Kalamandir Jewellers, said the retailer’s approach to platinum began with its first Platinum Experience Zone in Ahmedabad. He said the Vadodara format has been developed around assortment, space design and customer service, with platinum positioned as an experience-led purchase.

The zone uses clean architectural lines, focused lighting and platinum-inspired tones to distinguish the category within the store. The format is designed to allow consumers to view different platinum jewellery categories together across styles, occasions and price points.

Vaishali Banerjee, Head of Global Market Development and Managing Director – India & Middle East, Platinum Guild International (PGI), said Kalamandir has been a long-standing partner in developing the platinum category and bringing it closer to younger consumers.

Banerjee added that the Vadodara format places consumer discovery and engagement at the centre of the retail experience, reflecting changing ways in which younger consumers interact with jewellery.
