Ekatra Jewels has raised Rs 10 crore from strategic investors within 100 days of launch, taking its valuation to Rs 100 crore to support expansion and product development.
Ekatra Retail Ventures Pvt. Ltd., which owns Ekatra Jewels, has raised Rs 10 crore in strategic investment, taking the company’s valuation to Rs 100 crore within 100 days of launch. The company said the funding will support brand building, retail expansion and product innovation across Indian and international markets.
The investment follows Rs 10 crore of founder capital deployed over two years of pre-launch development. Ekatra was founded by Pavitra Gandhi, with Ekta Kapoor and Sussanne Khan as co-founders. Khan also serves as co-founder and design director.
The company operates a vertically integrated model covering the production and cutting of its own Type IIa lab-grown diamonds. Ekatra said these diamonds account for roughly 2% of all diamonds and that the company holds four patented cuts, including its 108-facet Shristi Ratna cut.
Ekatra has also developed proprietary hollow gold construction technology, which forms part of its product development strategy amid higher gold prices. The company said the technology is intended to create larger-volume jewellery designs while using less gold.
Pavitra Gandhi, Founder, Ekatra Jewels, said, “This investment validates our vision and gives us the momentum to scale thoughtfully, expand globally and continue creating jewellery that blends technology, design and everyday elegance.”
The company said its latest ‘Oh My Gold’ collection by Sussanne Khan represents the application of its hollow-gold technology to statement jewellery.
