Chennai, September 29, 2026: Tribe Amrapali has opened its third store in Chennai at Terminal 4 of Chennai Domestic Airport, taking the contemporary jewellery brand’s store count to 43 across India. The new location is aimed at serving consumers and travellers seeking contemporary jewellery rooted in Indian craftsmanship.

The Chennai market has a strong design vocabulary influenced by South Indian temple jewellery, classical dance, mythology and traditional craftsmanship. Tribe Amrapali said these influences align with its design approach, which draws on Indian folklore, symbolism and artisanal traditions through a contemporary lens.

The new airport store offers a selection of the brand’s jewellery, including sculptural silver earrings, layered necklaces, stackable rings, everyday statement pieces and gifting options.

Akanksha Arora, CEO, Tribe Amrapali, said the airport location would allow the brand to reach a wider and more diverse audience while offering consumers access to its interpretation of Indian heritage and craftsmanship.

Founded with an e-store in March 2013, Tribe Amrapali focuses primarily on silver, gold-plated silver and fashion jewellery. The brand combines traditional folklore and symbolic influences with an experimental contemporary design approach.
