Margao, October 3, 2026: Malabar Gold & Diamonds has opened its second-biggest showroom in Goa at St. Joaquim Road, Borda, Margao, expanding its retail presence in the state. The showroom was inaugurated by Digambar Kamat, Minister for Public Works Department, Government of Goa, in the presence of Damu Naik, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and company officials.

Spread across 7,839 sq. ft. in a ground-plus-two-floor format, the showroom offers jewellery across gold, diamonds, polki, uncut diamonds and precious gemstones. The store features collections from the retailer’s in-house brands, including Mine for diamond jewellery, Era for uncut diamond jewellery, Divine for Indian heritage-inspired jewellery, Ethnix for handcrafted designer pieces, Precia for precious gemstones and Viraaz for polki jewellery.

The launch further strengthens Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ presence in Margao and Goa, with the new outlet bringing multiple jewellery categories together under one roof.

M P Ahammad, Chairman, Malabar Group, said the company’s expansion in Goa was driven by customer response and trust in the market. He added that the new showroom was intended to bring a wider collection and the company’s retail and service offerings closer to customers.

The showroom follows the company’s stated responsible retail practices. Gold jewellery is BIS hallmarked with HUID, while diamonds are tested and certified. Its customer policies include full value on gold and diamond exchanges, transparent pricing and lifetime free maintenance.
