CaratLane celebrated its 18th anniversary with a film featuring brand ambassador Yami Gautam Dhar, alongside product upgrades, new designs and initiatives to expand its international business.
CaratLane marked its 18th anniversary on October 8, 2026, with a campaign film featuring brand ambassador Yami Gautam Dhar, celebrating the women who have shaped the jewellery retailer’s journey since its launch in 2008.
The film centres on the idea that jewellery carries personal meaning through the experiences, memories and milestones of the women who wear it. It reflects the brand’s focus on natural diamond jewellery and its role in marking significant moments in consumers’ lives.
Saumen Bhaumik, Managing Director, CaratLane, said the brand began as an online jewellery platform with the belief that every woman deserves to own a diamond. He credited customers, partners and employees for the brand’s growth over the past 18 years.
CaratLane has recorded a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40% over the past five years, with revenue reaching nearly four times its level during the same period. From an online-first business, the company has expanded into an omnichannel retailer with more than 390 stores across India, two international stores and a presence across more than 17,000 pincodes.
As part of its anniversary initiatives, the brand has upgraded its natural diamond offerings to FG-colour diamonds, introduced 5,000 new designs and launched nine signature festive collections.
CaratLane is also advancing its international expansion through its Global 2.0 initiative, which includes a revamped international website, an international app and a dedicated Shaya app.
The anniversary campaign highlights the brand’s evolution from an online jewellery platform into a retail business combining digital channels, physical stores and international operations.
