Buyers seek better deals in the light of strong diamond prices

De Beers has diversified into retailing watches, and has launched its first line of watches – the Talisman range of timewear. The collection includes automatic, manual and quartz watches which encompass rough diamonds, baguettes, full pave-set diamonds, semi pave-set diamonds and full pave-set diamonds. There are eight designs for men's and women's watches, priced between $12,000 and $38,000. The watches are being sold through the De Beers website and at De Beers' retail stores.
