Sales at Gem Diamonds rise by 11% in Q1

The rise was evident more in value of the sales

Just as the Jaipur Jewellery Show is nearing its event date in December, Gold Souk and the Jaipur Jewellery Show team launched the JJS & Gold Souk Jewellery Awards today, to honour the jewellery industry stalwarts. The award honours the jewellery industry stalwarts. According to Rajiv Jain, Secretary of the JJS “The award has been launched to aptly recognise the constructive works carried out by jewellers, both national as well as international, and the retailers of the sector.%%The awards programme is slated for December 23, 2007 at Gold Souk, Jaipur, and it would host prominent personalities of the jewellery industry. The organisers intend to gather top representatives from UAE and the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group, which is promoting Dubai’s jewellery industry. KMPG, GJEPC, DTC, Platinum Guild and GJF have been roped in as process validators and knowledge partners.
