The Takashimaya department store in Japan will be retailing a diamond studded Christmas tree for $1.8 million, according to AFP. The 400 diamonds sourced from southern Africa and Australia weigh100 carats. The 16 inch tall tree’s design is inspired by the Parisian flower boutique, Claude Quinquaud, and is decorated with roses and is accompanied with a souvenir of a teddy bear.
