IIJS Signature to host 15 Israeli companies

According to the Pakistani Daily Times reports, the Pakistani government is intending to revamp the country’s gem and jewellery exports from $25 million to $1.5 billion by 2017. To support this initiative it has formed a Rs 1.4 billion "Pakistan Gems and Jewelry Development Company" (PGJDC). Currently, Pakistan hold a very small share in the $84.4 billion world trade of precious stones. Plans have been drown to use sophisticated technology, develop skills and enhance branding, along with setting up training facilities and gem processing & manufacturing centers.
