Ratanchand Jewellers to raise around Rs.1.5 billion

Wants to expand retail presence, increase manufacturing capacity

Websites are becoming a favourite manner and zone to purchase jewellery, as the prominent websites noted an increase in their sales, recently. Amazon.com has witnessed a 75% increase in diamond sales in the third quarter, which marks the festive season, as compared to sales in the same period last year. The Amazon website has also optimistically expanded its range of diamonds and now offers 2,269 new styles and a selection of black diamonds for sale. Also, jewellery and watches offered on the website feature over 100,000 diamond jewelry and watch items, and over 240 new gemstones styles.%%Another prime website Blue Nile earned a high increase of 26.5% in its net sales, to value at $67.4 million in the third quarter as compared to $53.2 million during the same period last year. Overall, shoppers are enthusiastic to be hooked onto the Internet for making their precious purchases.
