Jewelers of America (JA) announced a new appointment recently, that of Susan Thea Posnock as its public affairs manager. At JA, Posnock would handle promotions of legal issues and responsible business practices which affect the jewellery supply chain, to JA members, governments, civic and social organisations, and the media.%%She would work with JA Director of Public Affairs Peggy Jo Donahue and JA Public Affairs Coordinator Lauren Thompson. Publicising JA's products and services such as education, marketing and management would also be part of her portfolio%%Posnovk has been associated with the industry as senior editor of National Jeweler magazine, and has over 15 years of experience in journalism and public relations, which have earned her numerous awards.
