Among the numerous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) activities to be held during the Tucson trade shows, the GIA will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a birthday-theme alumni dance party and auction on February 3 at the Marriot University Park.
The festivities will include a dinner and silent auction, followed by a presentation of the alumni awards and announcement of the Richard T. Liddicoat Scholarship award winners. GIA representatives will be at the Gem & Jewelry Exchange (GJX) Show (Booth 218) and at Rio Grande’s Catalog in Motion (Tucson Hilton East) from February 3-6.
