Damas has outlined a promotional campaign across all its 22k boutiques in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait, to welcome the festival of Akshaya Trithiya. The concpet of the festival has origins in India, an auspicious period for marriages and any prosperous business ventures. Traditionally, the festival is celebrated with the gesture of welcoming fortune into one’s life, one such beign buying jewels. %% Damas has created a specific collection, Akshaya Trithiya Gold and Diamond Masterpieces for the festival, and has combined the gesture of fortune with a rewards programme on purchases. The Akshaya Trithiya Gold pieces are handcrafted in 22k gold, with a Gold Masterpiece collection of a necklace and earrings crafted with Mina enamel colours and inspired from 'Khumbam' and 'Kalasham', symbollic of eternal prosperity. %% The Diamond Masterpiece inspired by the 'Thoran', meaning good fortune consists of a necklace and earrings crafted in 18k gold, choice diamonds and tourmalines. Damas has offered a reward programme of a complimentary set of pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet upon any Damas jewellery purchased worth Dhs25,000 or higher. Those purchasing the Akshaya Trithiya Diamond Masterpiece will receive a Lulu shopping voucher, while those opting for Damas diamond jewellery worth Dhs25,000 or higher get a free gold watch. %% Other promotional gifts include a free Imperial or Giordano Watch with every purchase of diamond jewellery worth Dhs3,500 or a Paris Hilton Watch for diamond jewellery purchase worth Dhs5,000. The campaign will stretch between April 25th till May 15th.
