Varda Shine receives WJA Lifetime Achievement Award

The Indian representative and chairman to the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme - O.P. Arya has announced his resignation from government services and with this also from his role as chairman of the Scheme. April 30, 2008 was the last day for his office term as mentioned by him in a letter to the KP members. %% He expressed gratitude to the members, for their support. Arya has been associated with the Kimberley Process scheme for almost a year and a half, in the roles of vice chair and chair. Succeeding Arya will be Rahul Khullar, the additional secretary from the department of commerce.
