International Diamond Laboratories (IDL) has produced its first batch of graduates, as it recently handed over IDL Retail Jewellery Masterclass Diplomas to the 16 individuals. The graduates completed a six day course in retail jewellery industry. The course focused on teaching the latest techniques and technologies applied in jewellery retail. %% The award ceremony was presided by Samit Bhatta, General Manager (India and Middle East), IDL, and DMCC, while Mr. Shailesh Sangani founder of Gili and Just – In – Vogue Retail India, Mr. Navin Sadarangani Director NYUZ were present at the dais. %% Taking the initiative to deliver several programmes for the Indian diamond jewellery industry, IDL is focused on building a knowledge sharing platform. The IDL certificate would qualify to promote the career and business prospects of the graduates. It informs to create a talent pool in the industry which has a strong foundation on knowledge related to the basics of metals, theories, conpcepts like Hallmarking, etc. The course is slated to be held across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur and Surat.
