Budget 2012-13 looks bleak for the G&J Industry

Unbranded precious metal jewellery to attract excise duty of 1%

Flawless Diamond has reported a 72 percent increase in its net profits for the three months ending June 30 2008. Net profit valued at Rs.77.91 million ($1.8 million). The net profit margin has increased from 3.64 percent as in last year, to 4.32 percent in the said quarter of the present year. Its net sales scaled up by 45 percent amounting to Rs.1.802 billion ($42.6 million). The company is a manufacture of diamond jewellery, headquartered in Mumbai.
