Venus Jewels has extended the deliverables of its Venus Grading System (VGS), as it recently introduced a new clarity grade -'VS2'. The new grade applies to the clarity grades VS2 and SI1+ and identifies the diamond to have a clarity ‘slightly lower than the standard VS2 clarity grade’. %% The grade is an effort to further strengthen the transparency between diamond grading and their pricing. This especially refers to the price difference between VS2 and SI1+ clarity diamonds, which almost amounts to 8 percent to 15 percent, which may deter a customer from purchases. The new grading will allow a better explanation and clarity to the price difference and win consumer confidence. %% The VGS system now offers 32 clarity grades. It price book recognizes all 16 grading parameters of the VGS in pricing their diamonds. Venus Jewels is a Diamond Trading Sightholder.
