Rio Tinto launches its first sustainable jewellery collection

Titled Nature's Beauty, the collection is made of gold from Rio Tinto's Kennecott Utah Copper mine in the US, with white and champagne diamonds from Rio Tinto's Argyle Diamond Mine in Australia.

Gitanjali Gems Ltd has signed an MoU with state-run Minerals and Metals Trading Corp. (MMTC), a leading bullion importer, to form a joint venture which would establish, acquire, develop, manage and maintain jewellery showrooms in India. The joint effort will see the launch of additional retail chain in the country.
