Seoul, Korea welcomed its first Cartier store in upscale Cheongdam-dong district of the city. The boutique has been designed by French architect David-Pierre Jalicon, on the inspiration of the Korean wrapping cloth or bojagi. Its interiors evoke the splendour and significance of Cartier in the gem and jewellery industry, its influence on high-end taste and of leadership in its domain. %% The company believes this to be the right time to tap the growing high-end luxury market of Seoul, which doesn’t seem to be threatened by the economic situation or the volatility in the USD. %% The boutique houses private lounges, bridal salon and a watch salon, resembling a private mansion built of opulent taste.
