Mining company Rio Tinto has plans to launch a diamond production project in an east-Indian state - Madhya Pradesh. Media sources say that the company has cited potential in a diamond deposit in Chhatarpur district of the state, where it is strategising to set up its project. The diamonds produced at this site will be for commercial production. %% The Indian government intends to increase its revenue sources and is considering minerals as a good revenue generator.
