Ushering in 2009 – Year of the Ox, with a symbol of good fortune, a Taiwan jewellery company, namely Emphasis Jewelry has launched a jewellery collection inspired by the golden ox. The pieces bear innovative in concepts like an ox holding a Chinese gold ingot or an ox in the Money God's dress, signifying a prosperous year and the bull market. The ox is considered a symbol of good health, adding to the good luck significance of the collection %% Apart from the jewellery, gold charms are also part of the new year collection, shaped in 12 Chinese zodiac symbols, in designs that are a fusion of traditional and modern Chinese art. Adding to the good fortune significance, the coins have been crafted after consultations with fortune tellers.
