Macy's has decided to launch two new stores, one each in Fresno and Visalia in Central Valley, California. The locations were previously the locations of Gottschalks, which Macy’s won during the Gottschalks bankruptcy bidding. %% The opening is slated for the third quarter of the current year. Macy’s presently runs over 840 department stores, under the brand names Macy's and Bloomingdale's.
