Rough diamond exports plunged 43 percent to $179. %% Spanning through the months of January – July, the country’s total diamonds exports declined by 58 percent to $3 billion, in which, polished exports dipped by 57 percent to $2 billion, and rough exports were down by 60 percent to $994 million. In this period, total diamond imports dipped by 63 percent to $2.2 billion. %% During July, total diamond imports amounted to $415 million, falling by 53 percent.
