'10 JEWEL' opens showroom in Mumbai

This is the first store from the retail chain in Mumbai, and it is fourth in the country.

During July 2009, Israeli’s total diamond exports decreased by 45 percent to $578 million. Exports of polished diamonds decreased by 52 percent to $399 million, reports say. Rough diamond exports plunged 43 percent to $179. %% Spanning through the months of January – July, the country’s total diamonds exports declined by 58 percent to $3 billion, in which, polished exports dipped by 57 percent to $2 billion, and rough exports were down by 60 percent to $994 million. In this period, total diamond imports dipped by 63 percent to $2.2 billion. %% During July, total diamond imports amounted to $415 million, falling by 53 percent.
